Being recognized and certified under the IFS Food standard and maintaining an active SGQ&SA system represents an opportunity to pursue the systematic improvement of methodologies, ensuring the safeguarding and protection of the company's know-how.

The Management considers the following essential points:

  • Maximum collaboration with other group companies to promote and increase organic production, while maintaining the related certification;
  • Continuous improvement of our agricultural production, ensuring it is always safe, authentic, legal, and of high quality;
  • Clearly identifying customer needs, communicating them internally, and adapting work processes to meet specific technical requirements and professional commitments;
  • Ensuring that customer needs are understood and pursued;
    Continuously improving internal processes, eliminating potential anomalies and waste through comprehensive and conscientious process self-monitoring by staff at all stages of production;
  • Enhancing communication with third parties involved, regarding food safety issues;
  • Ensuring compliance with legal and environmental requirements, periodically assessing adherence;
  • Ensuring compliance with current food safety regulations, as outlined in the HACCP manual;
  • Setting goals to protect the safety and healthiness of our food production;
  • Providing continuous education and training to human resources to ensure an efficient and effective application of the Quality System, Food Safety, and HACCP self-monitoring;
  • Motivating and ensuring that staff are always in a position to carry out the tasks for which they are qualified, involving them in their roles and responsibilities concerning food safety, healthiness, and authenticity;
  • Defining and maintaining a plan for the continuous development of a culture of Quality and Food Safety;
  • Prioritizing prevention and internal investigations to protect food safety, significantly reducing the likelihood of incidents and potential emergency situations related to quality, safety, and legality;
  • Strengthening the reliability of suppliers through an ethical partnership approach with key suppliers of one or more product types, and carefully monitoring and continuously evaluating them to ensure consistency in purchases made according to the specific requirements of the Piconi Alessandro Agricultural Company.


As part of these objectives, maintaining certification under the IFS Food standard and organic certification, while actively supporting the SGQ&SA system, is considered essential.

Additionally, alongside the general objectives listed above, specific annual objectives will be defined and communicated to all staff through the Management Review document, and their implementation will be verified during subsequent reviews. Everyone is committed to understanding, promoting, and implementing this company policy. The staff of the Piconi Alessandro Agricultural Company, through appropriate training in their tasks, are equipped to meet these objectives by:
